REVIEW HER EMPIRE BUILDER PODCAST

Show Transcription:

Hi Friend, welcome to episode 153 of Her Empire Builder Podcast. Thank you so much for joining me today.

I must say, if anybody is listening to this in real time, last week, the Spotify wrap up thing came out and there were so many people that had Her Empire Builder in their top five podcast listens, and it makes my heart so happy and grateful. So thank you so much for that. If you were one of those people, I mean, it blows my mind when people share the thing, and it's like, you know, you've listened to it for hundreds and hundreds of minutes. And there is a part of me because podcasting, I mean, you probably maybe you have your own podcast as well - Maybe you don't, maybe you should. Maybe that's on the goal list for 2022.

I love podcasting because it's so easy to create really good content because you're not having to perform. So, what I mean by perform is you know, you're doing a video, you're doing a webinar, there's a lot of people coming in and out and you're on high alert kind of thing in watching the chat box watching people's faces, making sure you hitting all of your good points, like all of that sort of thing. Like it's pretty intense. Whereas podcasting I find so relaxing, you know, you can just hit the record button, kick back and share your thoughts, share your perspectives hope to add value, and call it a day. It's such a weird kind of thing, because you never know who's listening. Whereas, with everything else, E.g you do a Facebook Live, an Insta Live, a webinar - you get registrations, you can see people's names people's faces - not with a podcast. So I look at our podcast downloads and I'm like, okay, so every week 1000s of people listen to this. Who are these people? Who are you? So I love it when people share it on social media. So if you're listening to this one, say “Hi, Tina” and share it. Tag me @tina_tower because it is really nice to see you who I'm talking to every week. But yeah, I just wanted to add that part in there at the start because it was really beautiful to be able to see and and know that it's hitting the mark and that you're getting great value out of it. So looking forward to bringing much much more in 2022.

But today, I have the incredible Brigit Esselmont who runs the most insanely cool business. Millions and millions of dollars a year from tarot cards. And I was introduced to Brigit only a few months ago by a mutual friend of ours and who has the number one downloaded podcast episode on Her Empire Builder this year Leonie Dawson, and she said like you two need to know each other neat, and she's just such a wonderful connector. And I met Brigit and I was like, Oh my gosh, this chick is a superstar. She's amazing. And you know, you just click with people and so immediately I asked her to be a speaker at women online. And so, if you haven't got your tickets for that already, head over to womenonline.com.au. There's both in person tickets for Sydney, and virtual tickets as well. And the speakers are amazing. It is the six women who are the top female course creators in Australia, so it's going to be incredible to hear their journeys and hear all about it, including Brigit. So if you don't know who Brigit is, she's best known as the best selling author of everyday tarot and founder of Biddy tarot. An intuitive entrepreneur, Brigit has helped millions of people all around the world discovered how to trust their intuition, access their inner power and bring the divine into their everyday life using Tarot as a guide. And just as a side note, in her bio here, I'm going to add because it's rare that you meet someone that has such a beautiful balance of like the whole cosmic woo woo and crazy pragmatism as well. And Brigit has both of those and you'll hear that in our chat today too, is how she like does full intuitive business, backed up by the statistics and research and everything that she follows. So anyway, Brigit is on a mission to bring Tarot out of the closet and into the mainstream and believes that Tarot is a modern intuitive tool for purpose driven people who are ready to live life at their fullest potential. No crystal balls are crushed velvet required. And I think that is such an important thing. Because you know, there's there's a whole lot of stigma around some of those things as well. And I know at my meditation altar, I draw a tarot card from my Oracle deck, nearly every day with my crystals and I just I love it. Anyway, Brigit has been featured in all of the cool places Huffington Post, Mind Body Green Refinery 29, Hello Giggles, Body and Soul, The Oprah Magazine and on numerous podcasts including Being Boss, Truth Telling Hippie, Mind Body Musing, and the I am Goddess Collective and now Her Empire Builder and has appeared on stage in front of live audiences across the US and Australia soon then women online one on 24th of February. Did I get that date? Right? Yes.

When she's not teaching, coaching or flipping tarot cards, Brigit loves spending time with her two daughters and her husband on the Sunny Coast in Australia. You can learn all about Bridget's Tarot courses, book community and intuitive business coaching at biddytarot.com. And I've also linked to it in the show notes for you below. Alright, let's get into it. You are going to love this we're going to hear all about how Brigit has started with Tarot card hobby in high school and turned it into a multi million dollar a year business. Let's do it.

Hello, I'm Tina Tower, and you're listening to Her Empire Builder. For my first decade of business, I thought grinding and hustling and working harder than everyone else was my path to success. It was pretty successful by a lot of measures, but it led to burnout and adrenal fatigue. Then when I travelled around the world on my family gap year, I discovered the simplicity and the reach of online business. And I completely fell in love. You have so much knowledge and expertise that's within and I want to help you to package that. So you can also help to lift others up. So how do you build a thriving million dollar business based on everything that's in your mind? This is Her Empire Builder, the podcast.

Tina

Brigit, Welcome to Her Empire Builder podcast.

Brigit

Hello Hello! It's exciting to be here.

Tina

We've just been chatting so much. I am so stoked that our paths crossed orbit. I am a little ashamed to say I didn't even know you were on the scene until I met our mutual friend Leonie Dawson, and she's like, do you know Brigit - she’s amazing.  And I was like, How did I not? Okay, and so I want to start with you with a bit of a background. Because when we first met, I was like, how did you get into your business? And you started with Tarot cards as a teenager?

Brigit

I was very actually quite spiritual. When I was a teenager, I'd wake up at like four in the morning and pull out like a book about yoga and start practising yoga or do like candle gazing where I could try and increase my psychic abilities and all of these things. So when I came across, Tarot a little bit later on, when I was 17, I had this amazing reading it, it felt like it, it all came true. I thought, Oh, fantastic. Maybe I'll try this thing out. And maybe I could learn how to do it and impress my friends and show them all my tricks and what have you.

So I started teaching myself. And through that journey, I started realising quite quickly that Tarot’s actually a lot more than just this kind of fun party trick, you know, tell your future kind of thing. But there was this whole deep spiritual like layer to Tarot that just really clicked in for me. And if you don't know much about Tarot, there’s 78 cards in a deck. And each card has a picture on it has like a deeper meaning behind each of those pictures. And to me, like when I connected with Tarot,  it's almost like these 78 pages of the book of life, really, because every card has such a deep message and a deep lesson really, that you can implement in your own life. So that's really where things got started. I just was like, opened up to this whole new world of tarot, it really ticked the box in terms of my spirituality. And it came in at a great time because you know, like late teens, early 20s, you're really discovering yourself and having a personal development and growth tool like the Tarot was just like, perfect.

Tina

So how did you develop from that in going like, did you start your business as a tarot card reader?

Brigit

Well, I am really that classic like hobbyist turned pro. And so when I was first just learning how to read tarot for myself, I was also studying at university I was doing management commerce degree.

Tina

That's also what I found super intriguing when I met you was going you've got such a unique combination of the woo kind of universal, cosmic side, and the super practical, pragmatic black and white side. So when asked you about, like, how did that all intertwine as well?

Brigit

Well, I think over the course of my life, it started to merge. And that's where I've really found alignment now. But yeah, back in, you know, my early 20s, and studying accounting and economics and not doing very well with that. But so I was like, I need a creative outlet. I'm loving this new tool of Tarot, what am I going to do? And this is in the late 1990s. And I thought, Oh, what if I just start learning how to create a website? So I literally learned how to hand code, HTML, and I'm in a notepad, creating my website, like live nothing. I kind of cut my teeth on, like writing code, very poorly, of course.

Tina

Was the website for you to offer Tarot services, or to sell products, what was that for?

Brigit

Even at that point, it was more of a fun project for me to do a place where I could put what I was learning about the cards online. I had no intention whatsoever at that point of, I'm going to make money out of this.

Tina

Well, in the 90s. It's like, like, the Internet was not very full. That's right.

Brigit

Yes. And, you know, I started like sending out emails through Yahoo groups. And, you know, the card of the week, and again, it was all just passion led, there was nothing in it. Whereas going, what, I'm going to create a business, here's my business plan. But what happened over the years is, well, actually, I read Tim Ferriss, four hour work week.

Tina

That was the pinnacle book for me as well. Did you read it right when it came out, like 2004?

Brigit

I think it was about 2009. That it all started to click in for me. And when I read that, I was like, Oh, wow, this, you know, I've been creating information. Oh, wow, that information has value. Oh, I could sell that online. Why don't I try that for a fun project. And that's when I started creating just a simple ebook. I was selling that I was doing simple tarot readings online. And again, really just pocket money just for the fun of it. Yeah, while I was working in corporate, and so I was in management, consulting and HR, all that stuff. Doing this on the side, it was great.

Tina

Was that as Biddy Tarot. Has that been there all the time?

Brigit

Yes. So pretty much from the very beginning. Actually, it used to be called Biddy’s Pretty Little Tarot Site.

Tina

If people could see Brigit’s face when she says that. I just had my 17 year business anniversary. And I did get out some old photos and look at it and the old branding and the things like even what I put on our first building, I'm like, oh, no, Tina, what were you thinking? We live and learn?

Brigit

I love that we come from humble beginnings. And no, you can look at, say, our businesses now and go, Oh, my gosh, wow. That's amazing. But we've come from, like, a place of just trying to figure it out. And yeah, make ends meet and so on. Yeah.

Tina

And so what at what point did you go? Like, was there a moment that you went, actually, this is a real business, and I'm going to leave corporate? And I'm going to take this seriously? Like, how did that transition happen?

Brigit

Yeah, so really between about 2009 and 2012, which is interestingly, when I was having my two babies, and having some time off work, that's when I started, I guess, really experimenting with, okay, how could I make a little bit of extra money online. And then by 2012, I was getting a lot of traffic to my site, I reached the number one Google rankings. And really with just basic SEO, no, nothing paid. And I had advertising on the site, which was actually giving me pretty much my same income that I was getting in corporate. And so I thought, Ah, why am I showing up every day to a job that is like soul sucking and destroying me and not lighting me up at all? 2012 is when I made that decision to go. Alright, I think I'm done with the corporate world. I'm going to give this a go and see where it goes.

Tina

So what would you say because I know a lot of a lot of women that that listen to the podcast are in corporate jobs at the moment that they feel like it's soul sucking. Did you like did you feel like you needed to replace that income before you had that safety to leave? What would you say to people that are like in that at the moment going? Should I? Could I? Can I? Can’t I?

Brigit

Yeah. Look, I think at the end of the day, everyone's different. And everyone's needs and desires and risk profile is quite different. So for me, I think at that point, I was quite conservative. And you know, I am very practical and grounded. And I'd like to know that I have a plan and different options available and so on. So it was important to me that my alternate income would equal at least my corporate income. So at that point, it was both Biddy Tarot, but also, I was doing Hypno Birthing and childbirth education. I did that for about four years of teaching Hypno birthing, which I loved. But that was another income source. So I actually had found that I had multiple income sources. And I knew I could always switch to consulting, like I had a change management background or development background, and knew I could just easily jump into that if I needed to. But yes, I just, I got to that point where the income was at least the same as my corporate. Yeah, so you're totally safe.

Tina

And then at what point like, was it then that you went, you know, this isn't a hobby based business? Now? I'm going to go big? Or was the goal at that point to go? I'm just going to replace my income and have more lifestyle with my young kids? Where were you at that stage of it? Because I'm always intrigued at going, because now your business sits at a few million a year? What clicked? When did it click?

Brigit

So I'd say to that, at least that first you know, five, six years, it was very much just about experimentation. So you know, like, try something. Oh, did that feel good? Oh, great. I'll do more of that. Oh, that didn't feel so good. I won't do that again.

And just a really kind of like fun in flow. Like, let's just see what happens. Also, at that time in 2012, and 2013, my family and I, we had six months in Spain. And so we were living and you know, travelling around Spain.

Tina

Why? Just because you wanted to? How old were your kids when you did that?

Brigit

Why not? Well, Zara was like eight months old. And Cohen was three. Yeah. And that. Yeah, we did again the next year. And then we did it in 2015, as well. And what I loved about that was I might work a couple of hours in the morning, when the kids were sleeping or you know, at the playground, then we go out for lunch and evening. It's fantastic.

Tina

I miss travel so bad when you're talking about that. I'm going to get me on a plane.

So was there a moment when you went? This is going to be a multimillion dollar business?

Brigit

Yeah, look, I've always been goal oriented. So I've always sat down every year and thought, Alright, how like, how would I like to grow this company each year. But in 2017, I hit my first million in revenue. And that's when I was like, Oh, wow, I've got like a pretty serious legitimate business here. This is really got some legs. And then over the next year or two, I really started feeling into okay, what would it look like to grow this and create a company. So I'm very motivated and inspired to go and build something that has a lot of longevity, that’s sustainable, that's bigger than me. Because I really believe in like, Biddy Tarot is its own entity, its own energetic system, its has its own soul, its own destiny. And I'm simply a guardian and a custodian to that. So I'm here to really be able to birth Biddy Tarot in the way that it wants to be birthed.

And I really felt strongly that to do that, I needed to build out a team, I needed to have systems and processes, I needed to give this company like the best shot that it's got to reach, you know, as many people around the world as possible. It's interesting, you know, like, you kind of have the birth of your business, and then it's a baby. And then, you know, I really feel like the business right now is kind of, it's in its teenage years. It's a little bit rebellious. It's still trying to figure itself out. And you want to be able to just give it like, I want to give you the best life possible.

Tina

But I think like you said before, you know that you started out looking at it all like an experiment. I don't think it ever ends. Like it's everybody that I know that's running business for 10, 20, 30 years. Still going, you know, every year is this one big, intriguing giant experiment where we're working out what's working now what's not? How can we change? Like, it's never, I remember my early years of business, I had a business coach, I think I was like, three or four years in. And I remember saying to him going, you know, once I reach this level, like, it's all going to be fine. All my problems will be sorted out, and he just, like, cracked up at me in going no, no, every new level just brings you a new level of problems that you have to master like, You’re never done. And I was half really sad. And half going, actually, that's quite comforting in going there's no magical place that we reach where we've got it all sorted out. It's every time we grow and evolve, it's going okay, what's that next iteration going to go to and look like, which is fun.

Brigit

Yes, yes. And I know that anytime that I've gone. Oh, wow. Now I've got it. I've got my perfect business, my dream team, it only take about a week or two. Enjoy that week, savour that week.

Tina

So when you started hitting that, that million in 2017, what strategy were you using to grow the online business? Were you doing live launches? Have you been capitalising on SEO? Like, what? What did you do to get it to that level? Because that's like, a lot of people's dream.

Brigit

Yes. So the model is actually very similar to what it is now and just on a much bigger scale. But basically, it's online courses. So we're teaching people how to read tarot.

I think 2017 was when I actually launched my certification program as well, which was basically our like, our online courses mixed with our community membership and delivered in really a 12 month experience of training and support and so on. So that was launched at that time that did really well. I don't know if we've got this little spider that keeps crawling over my little webcam. Um, so yeah, online courses certification program, we have a membership site as well, which I love. Because it's not only just like, you know, discussion forums and masterclasses, and so on, we also have this really beautiful opportunity for people to practice their tarot readings, with people around the world. And I think to date might be a bit, taking a bit of a guess, but I think we're probably 300,000 readings have been given over the last three years. That's so cool. Yeah, yeah. And what that means is, you know, that's like 300,000 people around the world who are experiencing Tarot in the way that we teach and the way that we encourage our readers and students to really read like, for me, that's, that's the essence of what I do. This is all about having a positive impact on the world. And you know, really bringing Tarot into the mainstream and changing all those outdated perceptions.

Tina

So you've got a combination of live launched for that. And evergreen programmes that are there all the time as well.

Brigit

Yes, at that stage, what I was doing was more of the live launch, then onto a waitlist. And you know, you kind of like bottleneck, almost, and build up the anticipation. Yeah. And then I think also behind that we still had funnels in place because I love funnels, I think funnels are great, yeah. And yeah, but over the last sort of year or two, I've really been opening it up so that things that evergreen, but we also utilise the funnels so that there is still a feeling like there's still some time sensitivity and so on.

Tina

What would be your advice, because I know that, you know, list building is such a big part of it, when you're talking about funnels and live launching, like, so much of it depends on your engagement and your list size. What have been your favourite ways that have got the best result to build that community and expand that network?

Brigit

Yes, I really enjoy doing the five day challenges that we do. So just such an immense amount of value that gets delivered in those challenges, because they're little short, sharp tutorials that come out each day. And then we've got our Facebook group, and there are 1000s of people in there, like having the experience together, sharing, you know, that picture of their reading or whatever it might be. And it's just like, that's where I get a real buzz because we're in such a virtual world. I don't get to see the people that I'm impacting. But when I'm part of say, a five day challenge, I can really see and feel that energy of the group. So that I really love and of course, our quizzes do extremely well. They're really a good way to, you know, connect with people and to talk about who you are and what that means for you, and how we can support you on the journey.

Tina

Ok, so challenges, because there's always challenges. It's not all you know, we grew and then we hit a million dollars. And now we run challenges and they all come in and go through that. What's been the most challenging part? Do you think in the journey of building a multiple seven figure a year online business?

Brigit

Yes, probably quite a few. How many have we got?

You know, if I think I'm say the real core of it, is going back to what you shared earlier, which is this constant evolution of ourselves. Right? I've not been trained to be a CEO of a $3 million company. And everything that I might have done that's created success in the past isn't necessarily the thing that's right for me right now or in the future. And so it feels like I'm just constantly having to shed my skin become a new person every single week, I'm reflecting on Who am I becoming this week? And what is it that I'm letting go of? What am I embracing? What do I need for like, more flow and more ease?

Whatever has got you to where you are now won't get you to where you want to go?

Tina

I think so much of it. I think the first I actually think the first $100,000 is the hardest, because I always think like, once you get to that, and you've got some runs on the board, and you've got a reputation, you've got an audience, then just dialling everything up. And working out once you get past the seven figures. It's totally a mind game. It's all mind game. What do you want? How do you do it? Who do you need? What do you need to let go of to do that? Like, how can you separate from your ego? How do you like so many different things? And it is? Yeah, I was we were talking a little bit about it before we hit record, like What Got You Here Won't Get You There and that constant evolution that you have to be paying attention to? How do you how do you avoid the burnout of that in going like, do you ever get tired and go? Come on, I just want to coast for a minute because you've got a big business is a big responsibility as well for your customers and your team.

Brigit

Yes. And as talking with a friend who's very much into sort of energetics, and she's like Brigit, you're holding so much like psychic energy of the group. And by that, you know, we have 16 million people that visit the website every year. And that's growing. We have 1000s and 1000s of students. And we're impacting so many people at such a deep level. Sometimes I forget about this, right? And I forget that energetically, I'm holding the space for not just me, not just my team, not my business, but my entire community. And with that comes such a deep level of responsibility. And you know, yeah, I think it's the responsibility to be able to hold that space and also to be able to keep going. Because when I've had tough times, I've kind of been in the like the mess of it all. And I think, ah, you know what, everyone else can hand in their resignation letter.

Not an option. No, there's no like you can't back out because you it's almost like you're in this whole soul journey to be in service and helping others. So yeah, coming back to like burnout. I probably go through burnout quite, quite regularly, which is okay, because what I do is I recognise Oh, here it is, yeah, I can feel it. And then I take action to slow it down. So for example, even just, you know, now we're recording this in December. I think last week, I was pretty close to like, completely frazzled. And, you know, this week, I've like, I've cleared quite a few meetings. I've got a puzzle from the libraries. I'm doing my puzzle, like, I'm just trying to keep my energy just calm and relaxed. Because again, it comes back to this idea of being the energetic container for your business and for your community. And if your energy is not strong, then the rest it just flows and ripples.

Tina

Do you have like your daily rituals that you do to keep that energy flowing?

Brigit

I wish I could tell you that at 6am I wake up and meditate. I don’t!

Tina

I had a Kinesiology session last week with Kerry who we both know. And she was like, you know, you meditate and I was up in my my leisure Lounge, which is like my creative space and I've got a whole like meditation altar with all my crystals and all everything. My whole intention is every morning just for 20 to 30 minutes, just sit there. That's it. Very simple. Yeah, probably make it twice a week and there’s No reason to not. And I'm like, Why? Why don't so now I'm getting kinesiology to go, why don't I do the things that I want to do?

But I think that's just us being human as well.

Brigit

Do you know I've found that if I can reframe it to this is essential for me to be the greatest leader and CEO I can be, then I'm much more motivated to do it because I'm highly motivated around work. And so if I reframe things as serving my work, then I can usually do.

Tina

With my visualisation I've been doing lately, because you know, when we're doing like you said, serving our communities, our teams everyday, there's a lot of energy that flows going out from from our hearts, and being able to do all of that. And so my visualisation at the moment is I'm sitting there, and energy is just pouring into me through the top of my head and just filling me up for the day so that I can then give that all out. And that's worked beautifully. But again, like you from a work sense so I'm like, fill me out with the energy so I can give it to everybody.

Brigit

Yes, absolutely. Um, another one that I really like doing, especially if I'm kind of cycling on a problem is just sort of sit in silence. And I just let that mental chatter, just go for a little bit that, you know, peter out. Anyone that's kind of in my head, I just will gently show them the door and say, Okay, I'm having some alone time in my head. And then just find that place of peace. And then I actually moved myself up into my higher mind. So it almost feels like I'm going up up to here. And then that's where I will just pose a question. I'll just sit in that place. And sometimes I'll get a symbol, you know, a phrase or a knowing whatever it might be. Sometimes I get nothing. And I go, Oh, that was a waste of time. And then, you know, like, an hour later, I'll be like, Oh, okay, yeah, I got it. But just even doing that, because my mind gets so full of so many different things like running a company, being of service, having a family, you know, all the things. Yeah, the mental load is big. I just need to let it simmer and settle.

Tina

Yeah, I love that. So in a perfect world, we would do that every day.

Brigit

Yes. Crazy thing is, is like that meditation takes me about seven minutes. And when I've done it in the past, I've just cracked the code on like something, you know, straightaway. And those seven minutes you think, Oh, I don't have time to do my seven minutes. But if you do it, you've just saved hours of like messing around.

Tina

And we do we do have seven minutes, we can take it. Yeah. Oh, so I want to ask you about team. Because I know that, you know, a lot of the people that I work with, arrived in the stage of going from that six to seven figures. And so a lot of people have been doing it on their own, or they've got one other person or they've got just a couple of contractors. At what point did you go, I'm going to have to start building like this is you said before with the serious company and start building a structure in there. How's that journey gone for you? Yeah, so I hired my first assistant in 2013. And I remember doing that from a beach in Spain.

And essential so that, you know, I could continue, like having lifestyle and so on and keep growing the business. I've always been an advocate of having a team. Maybe because of my HR background, I don't know. But yeah, I just, I really see a lot of value in delegating and having other people do the work. So that for me, it means like freeing up my mental space so that I can focus on strategy, content creation and things that I have the most value to add.

And then most recently, you know, think like, the more you hire and delegate, you get closer to that point of like, Oh, I'm pretty good at this, but I probably should delegate it you know. And so even you know, things like marketing strategy, I remember when I was delegating that and hiring a marketing manager like that felt a little bit hard. But I'm so glad now that I have done that. So I'm continually just letting it go.

Tina

And so now what does your day to day look like for work?

Brigit

Yeah, so I really focus on content creation. So that might be like recording what this interview or might be doing a class or teaching a live call, and so on. Strategy, so strategy might be designing like a new product. It might also be like our business strategy in terms of how do we want to operate our team and so on. I also always put in like, what's my energy refresh? So I make that like a list in my little task list. Okay, what I'm doing this week, that's an energy reset. A walk, or a massage. There are meetings, which, you know, a bit hard. So we're a size of 20 team members who all work remotely and around the world. And we have, I think that what I value most about our meetings is it's a time for me to be able to calibrate with our team. So they're off doing all of the work and being amazing and putting in place strategies, implementation plans, and so on. But it's my opportunity to be able to calibrate to kind of transmit, to you know, make sure that we've got this really lovely alignment as they're doing a lot of the work as well.

What is your big vision for Biddy Tarot? Do you? Do you sit there and go, like, map it out of where you want it to lead? Or are you more every year see what will unfold?

Brigit

I’m quite vision oriented. So one, I just want to continue to say like Biddy Tarot growing and reaching as many people as possible around the world.

They, you know, well, there already are millions, but it should be like hundreds of millions of people that could have a tarot deck in their hand, and start using it for their own, like personal growth journey. You know, that's my ultimate vision is just that tarot decks are in everyone's hands. But also, you know, we focus a lot on teaching our students and helping them become amazing tarot readers, and certifying them and so on. So my longer term vision is giving our certified readers a platform to start doing paid readings and start growing their business. We support people with growing their own businesses, but we realised that a lot of people who read tarot, aren't necessarily really business savvy. And that's our gift. As a company, we are very business savvy, and we want to be able support and help our readers in that way.

Tina

If we've got business people that are listening, that are going, you know, they don't want to do it for other people, but they want to start, you know, get that tarot deck in their hand and start doing that to get some more energy into their business and get some more guidance. When they go to your website. Where should they start?

Brigit

Oh, well, there is I think there's like a little start here, page. And of course there is.

And that way, you can just start to learn like, what is Tarot actually, like? What is it actually about? Because there's so many misconceptions, that what Tarot but yeah, you know, all we really need to start doing is get a tarot deck, start pulling a card today, take five minutes out of your day, just to tune in, what are you feeling, what's the card show you and reflect to you look it up in a book, you don't have to remember it all, but just start getting an experience and some value out of it as a personal spiritual practice. So if you head to biddytarot.com, you'll find all of that. And then, of course, we've also got our Tarot planner, which is just coming out as well, which I love. We do this every year. And inside of that, it's an opportunity to connect with the cards connect with the seasonal cycles, the moon cycles, and really use Tarot in your everyday life to kind of bring out more of that spiritual connection and intuitive connection that we all have.

Tina

So much this year, I've been hearing more and more about, you know, launching with the moon cycles and all the star cycles and all the things that are like, what is this? But then, you know, a friend of mine said to me, and I was like, Okay, if we take all of this into account that doesn't leave much time. That's like cosmically clear.

Brigit

Yeah. And I actually, we were planning out a big launch. And someone said, Oh, shall we just check when Mercury retrograde is? This is what I mean. But it goes for a really long time. It's like three weeks.

Tina

So you are speaking at our women online conference in February, which I can't wait. And the whole premise of women online is to encourage other women to go be gay and to show them the different different journeys of women that have have done that. What are you most excited to share with all of the ladies?

Brigit

Oh, do you know I think my little secret sauce is how I use intuition in my entrepreneurial journey and that's what I'm really looking forward to is talking more about what that really looks like and not in kind of a big like woo woo airy fairy space, but like really, what does it really look like to have intuition and strategy merged together and blended together? For me, that's been my strategic advantage is having those two fully integrated and how I do business?

Tina

I really think it is like it comes across every time I talk to you and going. It's a beautiful combination, and it gives you so much strength and power as well.
