227: Welcome To Launch House!

An online course launch is something that I love! The concentrated effort of marketing into one big campaign works well for my personality. As we go through the years in this industry, I am always trying to find ways to communicate more creatively and innovate the launch process and do it in a way that's true edutainment.

I believe with Launch House, we've found it! The theme of Launch House is 'Go big, or go home' and I'm certainly embodying that myself with this launch.

We'll be running @herempirebuilder launch from a luxury house on the Gold Coast with 2 groups of 5 of our members coming in to learn from the inside, chat with potential members, have photoshoots and - we'll be filming it all for you in a reality series to stream on YouTube each night! There's no bullshit, it will be raw, real and a whole lot of fun! I am nervous... nervecited and know that whatever happens, this launch will be both entertaining, and educational.

In this episode I'm talking about what I'm afraid of, how launch house came about, how much we're investing, and what's gone wrong so far!

225: Reinventing Yourself with Rebecca Saunders

Rebecca Saunders is one of my OG Her Empire Builder members and has been through so much reinvention in the past few years to now, where she’s in a place that is so aligned and so what she was born to do. I wanted Bec to share her journey with you because we often think that we need to have it all figured out but often, when we open our minds and heart and view business and life as one big giant beautiful experience, it leads us right to where we were always meant to be.

In this episode Bec is sharing how with alopecia she learnt to embrace her uniqueness, and how she went from a video studio service provider, to video course creator, to her purpose - The Champagne Lounge. A community for ambitious women to share and celebrate with one another.

Bec has taken what she’s learnt in Her Empire Builder and the other learnings she’s gathered to craft an offer and messaging that has taken off, because she’s found “her thing”. And that’s what makes us so happy. We see things click for our members when they truly let their own light shine, stop worrying about what they “should do” and start following their heart and then supercharging its success with quality systems and business strategy.

Now is the time if you’re wanting to do that too!

Her Empire Builder is opening doors next month and our Early Birds always get the very best deal of launch so if you want to be on the list, jump over to herempirebuilder.com and get yourself on the waitlist.

224: Believing In Yourself When You've Lost Self Belief

This is the episode that I went to record three times and then changed my mind because it felt too raw. NO ONE is immune to a crisis of confidence. In fact, I think it's essential to our growth to go through an introspective period before every big rise. The key is, how do actually listen to the voice in your ahead that's whispering "you can" and spurring you into taking action, when you have another part often yelling at you that you can't, and trying to keep you safe.

This episode, is how I get myself through it and hopefully it helps you to do the same because we're all made for more.

222: How Much I Invest In My Education

I'm a firm believer in the power of education, and over my 20 years in business I've invested in coaching programs, masterminds, and group retreats. Taking massive action on what I learn is my thing, even if sometimes, things might not go as planned, but I see those moments as opportunities to learn and grow.

I'm sharing how I decide what to allocate to my education budget and how this changes depending on my goals at the time. Together, let's nurture our thirst for knowledge, as education empowers us to make a difference!

220: Avoiding Feast And Famine With Live Launches Through Recurring Revenue

Have you ever experienced the feast and famine cycle of live launching? You know, that rollercoaster ride of excitement and anticipation followed by a lull in revenue and a feeling of uncertainty? Well, I've been there too, and today I want to share my experiences and insights on how to break free from this cycle and create a more stable and sustainable income stream through recurring revenue and the membership model.

In this episode, I explore the challenges of relying solely on live launches and the emotional toll it can take. You'll discover how implementing a membership option can provide a solid foundation for your business, ensuring predictable monthly income and cultivating loyal customer relationships. And I share practical strategies for creating a successful membership program, including pricing structures, tier designs, and member perks!

219: Pricing Your Course Should Have Nothing To Do With Your Self Worth

Too often I hear people linking their pricing with their self worth. Your pricing has NOTHING to do with your self worth, and everything to do with your positioning and delivery of the value promised to the customer.

In this episode, I'm sharing with you how I recommend you price your courses and how to know if it's aligned and positioned correctly in the market.

218: Finding More Happy In Your Life

I have a very simple definition of happiness - when your reality matches your expectations. But, how do we set those expectations and make sure that we're creating a life on our own terms and not unconsciously letting other people's demands on our time dictate our life?

It's what we do and how we live each day that makes up our life. The little things are often much more important than the big in relation to overall wellbeing and happiness. More than anything, people remark on how "fun" I find the whole journey of building a business. And that's totally true. Today, I'm sharing with you how I create that fun and how I have consciously created my reality to be one of the genuinely happiest people I know.

217: 4 Ways To Add More Cash To Your Business

Ever need a little more cash in your business? "Yes!" said every entrepreneur, ever.

Inside Her Empire Builder, I share a 'Cashflow Kickstart' lesson where we aim to add $30k in 30 days. Today, I'm sharing 4 of the 15 strategies with you to get your creative juices flowing of the easiest ways to turn on the tap of revenue inside your business.

I say 'easiest', not 'easy' because like everything, it takes effort, but these 4 strategies I'm sharing with you are massively leveraged and a win for both you, and your beautiful clients.

216: The Problem With The Online Course Industry

I have significant problems with how some course creators share their offers. It used to be online marketing 101 to be a little dodgy and there's still some hint of that in the industry. The reason is... bullshit sells. People want easy. People want a quick fix...

But, if you actually want success, then it's a different game. You're playing the long game. You're going for high quality and sustainability. You're building something that will last however long you want it to and be left with a business that has not only changed your life, but the lives of many of your clients.

The unsexy truth is that it takes leveraged effort. Work is not a dirty word and in today's episode I'm sharing with you a few of my pet peeves and that if you're feeling like it's harder for you than everyone else, you're not alone - most people aren't just giving you the whole truth.

You've got this! Keep bouncing forward and create a business and life you love.

215: The Journey Of Ros Ranse - The 2022 Empire Builder Of The Year

Ros Ranse is one of those incredible humans who just make everyone around them light up! I've been lucky enough to know Ros for many years, and to work together for the past 4 inside of Her Empire Builder and in that time, she's had the most incredible success story. Why? She cares greatly about her clients and the impact that she makes and that gives her the courage and ambition to implement all of the things she's never done before and go further so that she can take her clients right along with her.

Ros went from running a super successful travel agency (which she still runs now) and then started online courses and membership for other Travel Agents where she's sharing everything she's learnt in running a 7 figure agency while living a life she loves (for the most part, more about that in the interview 😉)

Each year we give the "Empire Builder of the Year" Award to a member who has done all the things and got great results with integrity, class and grit and Ros was our 2022 winner. I wanted to share her story with you because it's so freaking inspiring, and also, because we're opening doors for a sneaky few days at the end of the month so if you want to join us inside Her Empire Builder, head to herempirebuilder.com

214: Automations in an online business

It absolutely blows my mind how much we can achieve now with a little effort in business. What used to take 5 people, now takes 1. What used to take me days, now takes hours. This is all due to the beautiful advances in technology and automation.

I run a nearly $2m/year business and I have myself who works around 30-40 hours a week, my full time EA, a part time social media manager and a contracted podcast manager. It’s astounding that we can run the company we do and the level of customer service and communication that we have, with the amount of team.

This is because my EA and I, we do all of the personal touch. We utilize as many systems and automation as possible, but never let it get in the way of the human element. The goal is to automate anything and everything that can be, to leave us human to do the human work. We don’t want to spend our time on doing something that AI and software can perform. We want to use our time on the tasks that only we can do.

Check out my full list of recommended software at: https://www.tinatower.com/resources

213: Energy Hacking - it's not about time but how to get more energy!

How do we sustainably achieve optimal performance to fulfil our goals? In this episode I'm telling you all about my personal journey into energy hacking.

We all have a limited amount of energy each day and how we spend it, is up to us. But, how much energy does each activity take? Once you work that out, you can make informed choices to spend your limited well of beautiful energy on the things that matter most to you. Don't waste your precious energy on the unimportant anymore!

212: Pause with Purpose - Taking a Break From Your Business

I had a pretty game changing week last week. I knew I needed a break. But I didn't really realised how badly, until I got there. A pause can seem so hard to take when you have a never ending to do list and big beautiful dreams to match.

Lately I have been getting warning signs from my body that I needed to take a break and I have kept pushing, too hard. I had a break, and a breakthrough. And I'm sharing it all in this deeply personal episode in the hope that it reminds you to look after yourself too.

211: Why Personal Brand is everything for a Course Creator

I am here in the Maldives for a Delta Goodrem concert and it's got me thinking about the power of Personal Brand. Because that's why I'm here! I'm here for her.

There's a lot we can learn from that to translate into our businesses and ensure that we're building a personal brand that attracts and polarises and helps our perfect clients to know what it is we do and want to travel to the end of the Earth to do it with us!

208: When burnout slaps you in the face

That's me right now. In my business journey, I am very familiar with pushing too hard and then having to find my way to that healthy equilibrium. So this episode I'm sharing the steps I take and how I always have every intention that it will never happen again... ;)
